Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Chatpier ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our AI chatbot platform.

Information We Collect

  • Account data — name, email, and authentication identifiers.
  • Chatbot content — training data, knowledge sources, and files you upload.
  • Conversations — messages exchanged with your deployed chatbots.
  • Visitor telemetry — IP, coarse location, and user-agent of end-users who chat with your bots, used for lead attribution and abuse prevention.
  • Usage metadata — model tokens, credits, and billing signals.

How We Use Information

We use collected data to operate the service, generate AI responses, capture leads for your CRM, deliver bookings, produce usage reports, and improve reliability.

AI Processing

Messages and knowledge content are sent to third-party model providers (via our AI gateway) solely to generate responses. We do not sell your data or use it to train foundation models.

Data Sharing

We share data only with subprocessors required to run the product (hosting, database, model providers, messaging providers such as Twilio). Contact information a visitor submits in chat is stored in your workspace as a lead.

Security

Data is stored with row-level access controls. Only authenticated workspace owners can read their chatbots, leads, and conversations.

Retention

We keep account and chat data while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting support.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. For requests, email privacy@chatpier.co.
